Joshua Eve is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Law, University of Portsmouth. He joined as a PhD student in 2016 and became a full-time faculty member in 2020, teaching various law modules since 2017.

His research centers on equality and non-discrimination before the European Court of Human Rights, with a specific focus on Article 14 of the European Convention on Human Rights. His work contributes to broader fields such as Human Rights Law, Equality Law, Public Law, and International Human Rights Law.
Joshua's doctoral thesis, completed in June 2023, explores dignity and equality under Article 14, supervised by Dr. Kapotas, Dr. Bedford, and Dr. Weait. His academic contributions align with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to human rights, legal systems, and social equality.
