Dr Joseph Ward is a Lecturer in the School of Sociological Studies, Politics and International Relations at the University of Sheffield. He joined the department in September 2021, teaching modules in political economy, public policy, and political theory for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

His publications span topics like executive centralization during crises and ethical decision-making in business. Recent works highlight trends in UK governance and the political economy of decarbonisation.
