Joseph Hadzima is a Senior Lecturer at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, where he focuses on entrepreneurship, startup phase companies, business plans, venture capital, corporate governance, and intellectual property strategy. He has been actively involved in founding over 100 companies and advises entrepreneurs, high-growth businesses, and venture capitalists.

His work includes teaching the popular IAP course, “Nuts and Bolts of Business Plans,” since 1989, and serving as a founding judge of the MIT $10K Entrepreneurship Competition (now MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition). He is a frequent speaker for the MIT Enterprise Forum’s Satellite Broadcast Series and contributes to programs on company valuation and venture capital deal structuring.

Hadzima also co-founded and manages Main Street Partners LLC, a venture development and technology commercialization firm, and serves as president of its portfolio company IPVision, Inc. He has worked with the MIT Venture Mentoring Service and advised government agencies, universities, and nonprofits on building entrepreneurial ecosystems.
