Jose Luis Fernandez Fernandez

Jose Luis Fernandez Fernandez is a full-time Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at the School of Industrial Engineering, University of Vigo, Vigo Campus. His academic career focuses on applied physics and optical metrology.

Education:

• PhD in Optical Metrology from the University of Santiago de Compostela (1988), with a thesis titled New Frontiers in Optical Metrology for the Measurement of Radii of Curvature, supervised by Dr. Mariano Pérez-Martínez Pérez-Amor.

• Optical Metrology for precision measurement of radii of curvature, combining physics and engineering principles.
• Instrumentation and Measurement Science in industrial engineering contexts.
• Applications of Optics in industrial systems.
