FERNANDO LUSQUIÑOS RODRIGUEZ

FERNANDO LUSQUIÑOS RODRIGUEZ is a full-time Professor at the University of Vigo, affiliated with the School of Industrial Engineering and the Department of Applied Physics. He works within the Research Center in Technologies, Energy and Industrial Processes at the Vigo campus, focusing on industrial applications of lasers.

Research Interests: His work centers on advanced laser processing technologies, particularly for biocompatible materials. He leads the FA5 Industrial Applications of Lasers research group, which explores the intersection of industrial engineering and laser physics for material processing.

Educational Background:

• Doctorate in Applied Physics from the University of Vigo (2001), with a dissertation on processing biocompatible materials using high-power lasers, supervised by Dr. Mariano Pérez-Martínez Pérez-Amor and Dr. Juan María Pou Saracho.
