FELIX QUINTERO MARTINEZ

Felix Quintero Martinez is a full-time Professor at the Department of Applied Physics within the School of Industrial Engineering at the University of Vigo. He is affiliated with the Center for Industrial Technologies, Energy, and Processes Research and operates on the Vigo campus.

• Education: PhD in Physics from the University of Vigo (2004), with a thesis focused on laser processing of advanced ceramics and physical mechanisms in fusion cutting.

His research centers on industrial applications of lasers, particularly in materials processing and energy technologies. He contributes to the FA5 Industrial Applications of Lasers research group, advancing methodologies in ceramic fusion cutting and laser-material interactions.

Labs & Teams: Active member of the FA5 Industrial Applications of Lasers research group at the University of Vigo, dedicated to industrial physics and energy-efficient technologies.
