ÓSCAR BARRO GUIZÁN

ÓSCAR BARRO GUIZÁN is an Associate Professor at the School of Industrial Engineering, affiliated with the Department of Applied Physics at the University of Vigo. He works part-time (4 hours) at the Centro de Investigación en Tecnologías, Energía y Procesos Industriales on the Vigo campus.

• Research Focus: Industrial applications of lasers, directed energy deposition, and materials processing.
• Education: PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Vigo (2021), with his thesis titled "Aplicación y validación de la técnica de deposición de energía dirigida por láser en la industria protésico-dental".
• Collaboration: Co-supervised by Dr. Juan Pou Saracho and Dr. Fernando Lusquiños Rodríguez.
