Joonghwa Lee is an Associate Professor and Interim Chair in the Department of Communication at the University of North Dakota (UND), where he also serves as Graduate Program Director. He earned his Ph.D. in Journalism (Strategic Communication) from the University of Missouri and M.A. in Advertising from Michigan State University. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at Middle Tennessee State University, where he received teaching and research awards.
