Professor Jonathan Silver is a faculty member at the Urban Institute, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Sheffield. He joined in November 2016 and specializes in urban geography, focusing on infrastructure, urbanisation, financialisation, and everyday life in global cities. His work includes a ERC-funded project, GlobalCORRIDOR, examining infrastructure corridors and inequality.
