Dr. Jonathan Shaw is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of General Medical Disciplines at Stanford University, affiliated with the School of Medicine. He practices family medicine at Ravenswood Family Health Center and conducts health services research at Stanford and the VA Palo Alto. With a background in Philosophy (Yale, 1999), Medicine (Harvard, 2006), and Health Research (Stanford, 2013), his work focuses on women’s health, health policy for vulnerable populations, primary care innovation, and the social determinants of health. His research explores topics like preterm birth, social isolation in aging, and healthcare implementation science, particularly in high-need populations.
