Jonathan Morgan is the Corpus Christi College Professor of English Law at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Law. He holds a MA (Oxon) and PhD (Cantab). His research focuses on Contract Law, Tort Law, Constitutional Law, and Legal Reasoning, with affiliations to the Cambridge Private Law Centre (CPLC) and the Centre for Public Law (CPL). He has contributed extensively to legal scholarship through books and articles, including works on contractual formalism, public law, and judicial review reforms. His recent articles address topics like contract-tort boundaries, judicial flexibility in legislation, and pandemic-related legal challenges. A Fellow of Corpus Christi College since 2012, he also engages in legal education initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe through organizations like Juris Angliae Scientia Ltd. His inaugural lecture in 2023 explored 'Judges, Jurists and Style.'
