Jonas Nordmark serves as a Lecturer at Linköping University within the Faculty of Educational Sciences, holding dual affiliations with the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Learning (IBL) and the Department of Pedagogy and Didactics (PEDI). His academic work focuses on democracy education and the didactics of social studies, examining how educators convey knowledge and societal norms to young learners.
Nordmark's research centers on democratic citizenship education, specifically investigating how adults conceptualize, motivate, and structure teaching about democratic society that children and youth are expected to inherit and develop.
