Jonas Gottschalk-Rayling is a Researcher at the Max Weber Institute for Sociology, University of Heidelberg. His work focuses on the sociology of science, career research, and qualitative methodology. He is involved in the DFG-funded project Multiple Competition in the Higher Education System and a short-term associate at the ATLAS experiment at CERN. His research explores academic socialization during postdoctoral stages and the dynamics of competition in science.
