Jonah Jeng is a Visiting Lecturer in Film and Media Studies at the University of Pittsburgh's Dietrich School, specializing in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of film theory, environmental studies, and technological philosophy. His dissertation, "The Long Take: A Spectacular Film Realism for the Anthropocene," investigates how prolonged cinematic techniques can enhance awareness of nonhuman realities.
