Jon Tooby is a Lecturer in Cello at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Edith Cowan University. He serves as the Cellist in the Darlington String Quartet and co-directs WAAPA's String Department.

- Chief Conductor & Artistic Director of Darwin Symphony Orchestra since 2018
