John Stringer is Senior Lecturer at the University of York's School of Arts and Creative Technologies, where he teaches composition, conducting, and history of film music. An accomplished composer and conductor, his works have been performed internationally by ensembles including the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra. Stringer studied at Huddersfield and York, and maintains active collaborations with contemporary music ensembles globally.
