John Reilly is a Professor of Physical Activity and Public Health Science at the University of Strathclyde, with a focus on child and adolescent obesity prevention, physical activity, and sedentary behavior. He leads global initiatives such as the Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance and contributes to WHO guidelines on movement behaviors. His research spans longitudinal studies, systematic reviews, and interventions targeting early childhood health.
Education: Doctor of Social Science (University of Wales, 1987), Bachelors in Veterinary Medicine (University of Glasgow, 1984).
