John Nardo is a Professor of Mathematics and Associate Provost at Oglethorpe University. He has served as Interim Dean of the Hammack School of Business since July 2017 and previously held roles such as Interim Co-Provost (2013-2014). He leads pedagogical reform through initiatives like SENCER and chairs key committees including Faculty Council and Tenure & Promotions. Nardo joined OU in 2000 and is a vocal advocate for student organizations like ODK.

His research and teaching focus on knot theory, probability, statistics, topology, and mathematical economics. He also serves as Director of Academic Assessment and SACSCOC liaison, ensuring institutional accreditation compliance.
