Arthur C. Heinricher is the Interim Provost and Senior Vice President at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), as well as a Professor of Mathematical Sciences. He holds a BS from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (1980) and a PhD from Carnegie-Mellon University (1986). His research focuses on Applied Probability, Stochastic Processes, and Optimal Control Theory. He has led initiatives such as the NSF-funded REU Program in industrial mathematics and statistics and contributed to WPI's accreditation self-study (2012).
