Dr. John Meyer is a Professor and Chair of the Graduate Program in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology at Western University. He specializes in work motivation, leadership, and employee well-being, with over 160,000 citations to his research. His work emphasizes commitment in the workplace, publishing widely in leading journals and books such as Commitment in the Workplace: Theory, Research and Application and Handbook of Employee Commitment. He is a Fellow of multiple prestigious psychological societies and has received awards including the Helmuth Prize for Research (2012) and recognition for contributions to I/O psychology in Canada (2007). His research spans global contexts, with seminars and workshops conducted across Europe, Asia, and Australia.
