John Lannin

Dr. John K. Lannin is a Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Learning, Teaching & Curriculum at the University of Missouri’s College of Education & Human Development. His research focuses on improving K-12 mathematics teaching and learning, with particular emphasis on algebraic reasoning and teacher knowledge development. A former middle/high school mathematics teacher in Nebraska, Lannin specializes in designing teacher education programs, including pre-service training and post-baccalaureate certification for mathematics educators.
