John Krinsky is an Associate Professor of Political Science at The City College of New York (CUNY). His research focuses on urban politics, social movements, and the political dimensions of work, welfare, and labor. He holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University.
**Education**: Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University.
**Research Interests**: Krinsky examines Marxist approaches to social movements, labor organizing, and anti-austerity protests. He co-edits Metro-politics and Social Movement Studies, and co-coordinates the Politics and Protest Workshop at the CUNY Graduate Center. His work spans global case studies, emphasizing historical and structural analyses of inequality.
**Affiliations & Activities**: Founding board member of the New York City Community Land Initiative. Engaged with grassroots movements and policy critiques of neoliberalism.
