Dr. John Humphreys serves as Professor of Management in the Department of Management and Economics at East Texas A&M University's College of Business, having recently returned to faculty after serving as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Business. An internationally recognized scholar, he has lectured across North America, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East and represented the university as a Fulbright Scholar to China.

His work demonstrates particular expertise in management history and ethical leadership paradigms across diverse organizational settings.

His professional service includes chairing the Management History Division of the Academy of Management and serving on editorial boards for Thunderbird International Business Review, Management Decision, and the Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies.
