John Horn is a faculty member at the New York Academy of Art (NYAA) and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). He specializes in sculpture and anatomy, with a career spanning over 12 years in Italy, where he worked at Studio Simi, Henreaux Marble Studios, and collaborated with Romolo Felice. His expertise includes historical conservation projects under the Soprintendenza di Belle Arti in Rome, involving sites like the Arch of Constantine and the Roman Forum. He is renowned for his ability to merge traditional sculptural techniques with contemporary artistic vision.
- Education: BFA from The Philadelphia College of Art, MFA from CUNY Queens College.
His research interests focus on anatomical precision in sculpture, historical preservation techniques, and the intersection of art and public spaces. He has executed major commissions in Italy, Germany, and the U.S., blending classical methods with modern narratives.
