John Godek is an Associate Professor of Management at Seattle Pacific University's School of Business, Government, and Economics (SBGE). With a career spanning over a decade, he has taught marketing and entrepreneurship at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business and University of Washington-Bothell, as well as leadership and management at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He holds a PhD in Marketing and an MS in Psychology from the University of Michigan, along with an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Dr. Godek's research focuses on consumer and managerial decision-making processes. He has contributed to leading scholarly journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. His academic work bridges behavioral analysis with practical business applications.
Prior to his academic career, Dr. Godek graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and served in the Coast Guard for over ten years, bringing real-world leadership experience to his management teaching.
