Sarah E. Nutter is the Charles E. Kern Professor of Accounting at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business, with prior leadership roles including dean of the Lundquist College and George Mason University. She holds a PhD and MBA from Michigan State University and a BS from Ferris State University.
Her research examines taxation systems, behavioral accounting, and institutional incentives, with publications in premier journals like The Accounting Review and Journal of Accounting and Economics. Recent work focuses on political influences in taxation and cognitive processes in tax decision-making.
