Dr. John Francis is a Senior Lecturer in Performance Analysis and Course Leader for the MSc Sport (Applied Performance Analysis) at the University of Worcester. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and leads the Performance Analysis Research Group. His work focuses on advancing performance analysis practices in disability sports, particularly with national and international teams like the England Blind Football Team and England Powerchair Football. He has supported the English FA’s Para-Football teams since 2017 and previously worked with British Wheelchair Basketball and England Women’s Rugby Union. His research emphasizes optimizing feedback for coaches and athletes, enhancing sports science delivery, and fostering future analysts.
