Dr. John Elliott is an Honorary Research Fellow at the School of Computer Science, University of St Andrews, and Coordinator of the SETI Post Detection Hub. His work bridges disciplines such as computational linguistics, signal processing, and global impact strategies for extraterrestrial signal decipherment. Since the 1990s, he has contributed to the International Academy of Astronautics' SETI Permanent Committee, co-founding the UK SETI Research Network in 2012. His research also addresses cybercrime and terrorism through automated systems for criminal activity detection, collaborating with UK police and MI5. Awards include recognition by Arthur C.
