John Ebireri serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, teaching undergraduate economics and finance courses. Previously, he held academic positions at the University of Glasgow (Adam Smith Business School) and the University of Salford (Salford Business School), instructing modules in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Monetary Economics, and Principles of Economics.
His research spans Financial Reforms, Financial Development and the Real Economy, Poverty and Income Inequality, Economic Development, and the Role of the State.
