Achim Hauck is an Associate Professor in Economics, Finance, and Banking at the Department of Economics, Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. He serves as Course Leader for the MSc Economics suite and MSc International Finance, overseeing curriculum development and strategic direction. His academic roles include membership in the School's Academic Standards & Quality Committee.
His research focuses on financial intermediation, analyzing interactions between financial institutions, monetary policy, and real economy dynamics under financial market frictions. Key themes include bank regulation, liquidity management, and policy implications for financial stability.
