John Baldacchino

John Baldacchino is a Professor of Arts Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he previously served as Director of the Division of the Arts (2016–2019). His academic career includes roles as Chair of Arts Education at the University of Dundee, Associate Dean & Professor at Falmouth University, and Associate Professor at Columbia University’s Teachers College. Baldacchino’s work bridges art, philosophy, and education, focusing on themes like educational autonomy, critical pedagogy, and Mediterranean aesthetics.
