John Adamski is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The City College of New York (CUNY) and an Advanced Lecturer at Fordham University. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the CUNY Graduate Center, with a dissertation focused on symmetric rigidity in circle endomorphisms. His research explores analysis, dynamical systems, and ergodic theory, with applications to quasiconformal mappings and invariant measures.
Education: BA in Mathematics (NYU), MA (CCNY), PhD (CUNY GC). Teaching includes calculus, precalculus, and discrete mathematics at both institutions. His work has been published in the Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society and CUNY Academic Works.
Outside academia, Adamski is a musician with extensive performance history in bands like Bushicks and Shilpa Ray & Her Happy Hookers.
