Joe Franco is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Communication, Film and Media Studies Department at the University of New Haven's College of Arts and Sciences. A veteran broadcasting professional with five decades of experience at ESPN, he specializes in career coaching, media consulting, and collaborative learning initiatives between academia and industry.
He pioneered ESPN's launch, held management roles in production operations, and served as Manager of University and Diversity Relations, collaborating with over 150 institutions to create internship pathways. Currently, he co-founded Hired! Education and advises institutions like Middlesex Community College and Southern Connecticut State University.
