Jodi Melnick is an Adjunct Lecturer at Barnard College since 2008, also teaching at Sarah Lawrence College and Yale University. She specializes in contemporary and post-modern dance, emphasizing inclusion and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her career includes performances with major institutions like the Guggenheim Museum, Joyce Theater, and international festivals.
Her research interests focus on expanding dance’s engagement with diverse disciplines and backgrounds, reflected in her choreography for ballet companies like New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theater. She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Twyla Tharp, Mikhail Baryshnikov, and Trisha Brown.
