Jocasta Ball is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Chronic Disease & Ageing at Monash University's Victorian Heart Institute (VHI). She holds additional roles as Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Adjunct Professor at Torrens University Australia, and Visiting Academic at UiT-The Arctic University of Norway. Her expertise spans cardiovascular epidemiology, atrial fibrillation (AF), acute cardiac events, and health services research. She completed her PhD at Monash University in Public Health, earning a prestigious thesis award in 2014.
Education: Dr. Ball holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Optimizing AF Management (2014) and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) from Monash University (2004).
