Joaquin Caro Astorga

Dr. Joaquin Caro Astorga is a Lecturer in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Science at London South Bank University. He holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Malaga, Spain, with internships at Harvard University and the University of Groningen. His research focuses on synthetic biology, biofilm formation in bacterial pathogens, and engineering Gram-positive bacteria for biomaterials and extraterrestrial applications.
