Joanne Smith

Joanne Smith is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the Cert HE Health Care Nursing Support Worker Education course at the University of South Wales. She is affiliated with the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education and the HPL - Collaborative Provision (HCSW) department. Her roles include academic leadership and curriculum design.

Education: MSc Professional Practice, Senior Fellow HEA, PGCEd, BSc Community Health Studies, SPQ Practice Nursing, Registered Nurse.

Research Interests: Curriculum Design, Digital Pedagogies, Distance Learning, Healthcare Education, Practice Nursing, and Community Health and Wellbeing. She has presented at conferences such as the Technology Conference 2017 and RCN Education Conference 2016.
