Joanne Jones is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing and the Learning and Teaching and Quality Co-ordinator at the University of Worcester's School of Nursing and Midwifery. She holds a BSc Hons in Acute Care (Ophthalmic), MA Education, PGCE HE, and a Diploma in Administrative Management. Her clinical experience spans surgical, medical, women’s health, and ophthalmology settings across three local trusts.
Teaching & Research Interests: Adult Nursing theory and practice, clinical skills development, care for frail elderly populations, long-term conditions management, leadership in nursing, and pedagogical approaches in nursing education. She is particularly committed to supporting students with learning differences and disabilities.
Roles & Experience: Has led a BSc Honours nursing programme and served as a Lecturer Practitioner, bridging clinical practice and academic training. Her current role involves coordinating teaching quality and standards within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
