Joanna Poag is Professor of Art at Roberts Wesleyan College, where she teaches ceramics and sculpture within the Department of Art in the College of Arts and Humanities. She also serves as the Director of the Davison Gallery, contributing to the academic and exhibition mission of the institution. Her teaching includes foundational to advanced courses in ceramics and a senior capstone seminar, reflecting her deep commitment to student development.

Joanna's artistic research explores the interplay of line, form, and system dynamics, particularly focusing on homeostasis, entropy, and equilibrium in living, open systems.
