Andrew Casto is Associate Professor and Area Head of Ceramics at the University of Iowa, where he also serves as Director of Undergraduate Studies for Studio Art. He received the MJD Fellowship from the Archie Bray Foundation and NCECA Emerging Artist Award.
His artistic practice explores ceramic sculpture and installation, with international exhibitions in Milan, Miami, Portland, and London. Casto's work investigates material transformation and spatial relationships.
