Joan Almost is a Professor at Queen's University's School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences. Her research focuses on practice environments, work relationships, and interventions to enhance healthcare outcomes. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto and advanced nursing degrees from Western University. Notable awards include the Reddick Award for Excellence in Nursing Education. Her service includes editorial roles for Canadian Journal of Nursing Research and leadership in national/international nursing initiatives.
