Joan Tranmer

Dr. Joan Tranmer is a Professor in the School of Nursing at Queen's University, affiliated with the Faculty of Health Sciences. She holds cross appointments as Senior Scientist and Director at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES), and is a Research Scientist in the Health Services and Policy Research Institute. Her research focuses on chronic disease management, healthcare work environments, and nurse-led interventions. Tranmer teaches graduate-level courses in quantitative research methods and supervises students in nursing and public health sciences.
