Katie Goldie

Dr. Katie Goldie is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing, Queen's University, within the Faculty of Health Sciences. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of British Columbia and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Her research focuses on cardiovascular risk in populations with mental health disorders, nurse-delivered preventative interventions (e.g., tobacco/nicotine use, exercise programs), and evaluating outcomes of early palliative care. She teaches undergraduate courses like Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing (N325) and graduate courses such as Advanced Statistics and Analytic Techniques (N900). Dr. Goldie is a peer reviewer for the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and directs the Queen’s University Child Friendly Campus Initiative (QUCFC).
