Brenda Gamble is an Associate Professor at Ontario Tech University's Faculty of Health Sciences. Her research focuses on health human resources, interprofessional collaboration, and veteran health. She has published extensively and secured grants from agencies like SSHRC and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Dr. Gamble advises over 30 graduate students and teaches courses in health policy and interprofessional education. She is a member of the Canadian Military and Veteran Health Research Network and leads studies on female veterans' homelessness and virtual education tools. Her work also includes projects on dementia care and medical laboratory workforce development.
Education: PhD in Medical Sciences. Prior career as a medical laboratory technologist. Held roles at Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Toronto.
Research Interests: Health human resources, interprofessional education, veteran health, medical laboratory services, and public policy analysis. Current projects include exploring homeless Canadian female veterans' experiences and developing exergames for dementia care.
