JoAnne Harris serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Conservatory of Music at the School of Visual, Media and Performing Arts, Brooklyn College. She additionally teaches orchestration at Catholic University of America and serves on the steering committee of the Society of Composers and Lyricists in New York.
Her educational foundation includes a degree from Concordia College where she studied choral music under René Clausen. Harris maintains active professional development through organ studies, focusing on Bach's Orgelbüchlein.
Harris specializes in media scoring across film, television, and concert platforms. Her technical expertise encompasses orchestration, conducting, and composition for diverse ensembles.
