Emilie LeBel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Music at MacEwan University's Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications. She is a renowned composer specializing in orchestral music, chamber/concert music, mixed works that employ digital technologies, and intermedia concert works, with expertise in composition, orchestration, electronic music, and music theory.

Her compositions have been performed internationally by notable ensembles and orchestras, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and Arditti Quartet.
