Jo Littler is a Professor in the Department of Media, Communications and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. She specializes in analyzing cultures of inequality, gender, race, and class across media and society. Her research interrogates neoliberalism, meritocracy myths, and social mobility, with a focus on care politics and cultural critique. Littler is co-editor of the European Journal of Cultural Studies and a judge for the Stuart Hall Essay Prize. She has held a Leverhulme Research Fellowship (2023-2024) and frequently speaks at academic and public events, including the Barbican and Young Vic.
