Jing Lu

Dr. Jing Lu is a Research Fellow at the Australian Rivers Institute, Griffith University, within the School of Environment and Science (Environment and Marine department). Her work focuses on nutrient dynamics, aquatic ecosystem restoration, and the application of ecological engineering. She holds two PhDs: one from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2017) and another from Griffith University's Australian Rivers Institute (ARI). Her research spans nutrient transformations in catchments, invasive species impacts, and the development of nutrient offset projects.

Key research interests include freshwater ecology, water quality management, and the efficacy of green infrastructure. She has contributed to projects like the 'Building Catchment Resilience' initiative and is currently advancing bioassay techniques to assess ecosystem responses to nutrient sources. Her work integrates field studies, modeling, and interdisciplinary collaboration to address environmental challenges.
