Jim Haugh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Rowan University's College of Science & Mathematics. His academic career spans multiple institutions including St. Louis University where he earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Clinical Psychology, Baldwin Wallace University where he completed his undergraduate studies, and the University of Michigan where he served as a Post-Doctoral Associate.
His research focuses on the etiology and treatment of depression and anxiety, with particular expertise in stepped-care models, guided bibliotherapy (self-help interventions), and mobile mental health applications. Dr. Haugh's work explores treatment preferences for depression, especially among cancer patients, and examines the influence of state mindfulness and social problem-solving on depressive symptoms.
Dr. Haugh has published extensively in clinical psychology journals, with recent work analyzing diversity content on clinical psychology program websites and accreditation value from training directors' perspectives. His publication record shows consistent scholarly output with articles spanning from 1999 to anticipated 2025 publications.
