Jillian Walliss

Jillian Walliss is an Associate Professor in Landscape Architecture at the Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne, where she has been a faculty member since 2007. She currently serves as Associate Dean, Engagement, and focuses on the intersection of theory, culture, and contemporary design practice.

• Research areas include digital technologies in landscape architecture and evolving notions of civic space in global contexts
• Key projects: Twenty-First Century Civic (Sydney/Beirut case studies), digital design practices, and post-colonial transformations in Australia/New Zealand

Her work has been published in journals like Journal of Landscape Architecture and Space and Culture, with a forthcoming book on digital technologies in landscape architecture (Routledge, 2015).
